Summary: Under the supervision of the CQO/Compliance Officer, the Compliance Specialist/Contract Analyst is responsible for initial contract review for the organization, including managing the contracts via contract management software. Also responsible for carefully analyzing the details of business contracts to ensure the terms are equitable for the organization and that management is properly instructed on terms and expectations for both parties. The Compliance Specialist/Contract Analyst assists in the preparation, formulation, revision, and communication of organizational policies, manuals, and programs related to compliance and regulatory matters. The Compliance Specialist/Contract Analyst will assist and conduct routine and focused audits and monitoring of legal and regulatory compliance issues as identified by the Compliance Officer. The Compliance Specialist/Contract Analyst assists in documenting and maintaining documentation to demonstrate compliance with CMS, OIG, and other applicable federal and state regulations. The Compliance Specialist/Contract Analyst assists in the orientation and training of GRMC employees concerning regulatory and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

  • Nurse Paralegal, Registered Nurse or other clinical professional strongly preferred.

  • B.A. or B.S. degree from a four year college or university preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two or more years of related compliance or contract experience and/or training: College background with a minimum of an Associate's Degree is required.

  • Preference will be given to candidate with compliance, legal, risk management, or regulatory background, training and/or experience.

  • Detail-oriented; excellent proof-reading skills a must

  • Excellent customer service

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information

  • Knowledge of hospital operations

  • Some legal experience preferred

  • Some experience with contract review / management preferred

  • Some compliance and/or insurance-related experience preferred

  • Familiarity with standard office equipment

Provides technical expertise, coordinates, controls and optimizes the mining operation using the Fleet Management Systems.
