Civitas Health Services, a leading provider of behavioral and mental health services, is searching for a team of exceptional Compliance Specialist to help deliver the highest quality of care and services to our clients in the Richmond and Hampton Roads areas.

The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, state regulations and insurance company requirements through ongoing reviews, record keeping, and data tracking. The qualified applicant will serve as administrative support and work under the direct supervision of the Vice President conducting chart audits and building inspections and provide comprehensive weekly reports and documentation for the Executive team.

The qualified applicant will have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field of human services, healthcare administration or related fields;

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality assurance position in the field of mental health, preferably Community-Based and/or ABA services;

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel;

  • Exemplary communication skills, oral and written;

  • Detail oriented organizational skills and can assist in recommending processes and procedures for the department

  • The ability to develop positive relationships with multiple departments and be a team player;

  • The desire to perform the duties to assist the company in providing excellent customer service and quality care;

  • The competence to provide administrative oversight and assure accountability and compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards;

  • Dependable transportation and be able to travel

You Have... * Qualified candidates will have a minimumof 1-2 years leasing experience, and Microsoft Office skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent critical thinking skills * Ability to analyze accounts including but not limited to, charges from damages, accelerated rent, etc. * Superior time management and organizational skills, including but not limited to demonstrated exceptional attention to detail. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word and Excel applications. * Ability to learn, comprehend and understand the navigation of multiple computer systems simultaneously. * Some overtime is required.
