Please review the following job description:

Provide value added consulting services to Regional Agency Directors and Agency Executives within the region, relating to the annual review of agency procedures, workflows, and regulatory issues. Guide managers in areas of compliance to meet industry standards and regulations, while helping the managers meet their goals and objectives in a timely manner. Be available as a resource for compliance issues and to assist and be guided by a more senior compliance team member.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1.Develop a basic knowledge of insurance industry compliance and regulatory issues by:

2.Develop a working knowledge of the McGriff Insurance Services procedures as they relate to the individual agencies and system integrity.

3.Perform detailed work relating to Carrier/Intermediary Approval and Contracting, Broker Service Agreements (fees), Outside Producer Agreements, Business Associate Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Market Security, and Information Security as it relates to insurance industry compliance and regulatory issues.

4.Provide Support other McGriff departments, as well as any McGriff corporate departments that require assistance relating to insurance industry compliance and regulatory issues.

5.Complete assignments as required.

6.Continue developing overall knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues using continuing education and professional certification and keeping abreast of current trends, new developments, practices and regulations for insurance industry compliance.

7.Consistently deliver world standard client service and strive to be the "Best of the Best".

8.Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Competencies:

1.Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training

2.One year of agency property and casualty experience

3.Property & Casualty License

4.Team Orientation

5.Strong initiative and willingness to learn

6.Good aptitude for learning and basic knowledge of compliance and regulatory concepts

7.Possess client focused values

8.Good interpersonal communication skills

9.Demonstrated proficiency of basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products



  1. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
