The Compliance Officer provides regulatory guidance and facilitates compliance with governing rules, regulations, licensing and accreditation requirements which support the quality of state operated programs across Minnesota. The Compliance Officer has the primary role of auditing the quality of care documented in client medical records, participating in initiatives targeted at improving deficiencies, and preparing reports of compliance-related findings and trends.
Quantitative analysis is used to evaluate program results. The Compliance Officer regularly prepares correspondence, spreadsheets and presentations to describe and promote program initiatives and outcomes. As part of a cross-functional team, the Compliance Officer maintains positive, productive and result-oriented relationships which support organizational goals.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing the development of processes, procedures and audits to evaluate program compliance with standards set by regulatory bodies and presenting solutions to improve compliance
Planning, developing, analyzing and communicating surveys and their results
Monitoring compliance with policies and procedures and providing guidance to maintain compliance with regulations, licensing, and accreditation requirements
Facilitating and leading meetings that provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders
