The consumer travel segment is a $1 Trillion global market that is underfinanced relative to other key consumer verticals. We are looking for an ambitious and driven individual to grow with us as Compliance Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

  • Plans, directs, and organizes all Consumer Loan, Lending Center, and CABDO activities
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures in operations, product, lending and credit policy
  • Prepares information, as directed, for audits and exams both internal and external
  • Manages vendor relationships to effectively address business requirements, ensuring that files and vendor management tools and systems are kept current and updated
  • Continuously monitors competitors and industry best practices to ensure that consumer loan products are appropriately designed and priced
  • Works in conjunction with the Collection Department to conduct reviews of loan portfolio performance and recommends action to drive improvement
  • Reviews and revises loan applications and documents for regulatory compliance and conformance to established loan policies


  • Bachelors degree in Business, Law or similar discipline; JD preferable
  • Minimum 5 years consumer compliance experience required, including working knowledge and ability to analyze and interpret state and federal laws and regulations effecting the consumer lending industry (TILA, FDCPA, FCRA, ECOA, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities accurately and timely with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports, make presentations, speak and respond effectively to employees, members, vendors and the public
  • Skilled in interviewing, coaching, motivating, evaluating and counseling assigned employees
  • Smart, motivated and entrepreneurial
  • Fintech startup experience a plus
  • Located in SF Bay Area or willing to relocate
