THE JOB:

As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that MGM National Harbor remains fully compliant with state and federal gaming laws, including by establishing and maintaining the property's internal controls, collaborating with other departments around MGM's Responsible Gaming Program, and supporting the annual testing and documentation of compliance efforts. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Liaison with the Maryland State Lottery & Gaming Control Agency (MLGCA).

• Review business processes from start to finish and suggest ways to improve these processes.

• Help implement these improvements, including changes in reporting and systems.

• Work with IT to design, implement, and evaluate both general and automated processes.

• Test controls through redoing tasks, observing, and inspecting. Make initial judgments on how well these controls are designed and working.

• Ensure the GameSense program is implemented effectively according to its plan.

• Continuously improve the responsible gaming audit program and perform regular audits to check if goals are met.

• Stay updated on business changes that affect responsible gaming through necessary training.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 21 years old.

• Self-motivated, ability to communicate and network, and possesses integrity.

• Has a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.

• Has at least one year of experience in compliance, responsible gaming, fraud, internal audit, consulting, internal controls assessment and/or other leadership experience.

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 9AM - 5PM
