Work hours: Mon thru Fri; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

We are searching for a Compliance Manager to join our Compliance Department located in North Fort Myers, Florida.
Position Summary:To manage and oversee the Enterprise Compliance Program and NERC Program within the Governance, Risk and Compliance Division. The Manager functions as a part of the Senior Leadership Team with Director/Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various compliance activities: NERC compliance, Code of Conduct and ethics, records management, information privacy, and policy administration. This requires a strategic, long-term perspective as well as immediate consideration to business impacts with various projects and initiatives. Project management experience, compliance, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
Managing the LCEC enterprise compliance program to ensure the organization adheres to applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, including but not limited to NERC, FERC, HIPAA, and PCI.
Managing the development of compliance programs, policies and processes.
Managing policy administration for LCEC.
Represent LCEC to regulatory authorities including responding to internal and external inquiries from regulators.
Managing compliance audit requirements which include leading the development of audit protocols, conduct independent compliance mock audits; recommend performance improvement or compliance opportunities and follow-up to establish improvements.
Managing the Code of Conduct and Ethics program for LCEC including, but not limited to, the compliance hotline, training, and investigations.
Managing the records management program for LCEC including the legal hold process.
Achieving a deep understanding of LCEC's organizational strategies, projects and initiatives and aligning compliance with division / departmental objectives to promote thinking about compliance from both an operating and strategic perspective.
Establishing collaborative relationships with stakeholders to assist in the development, assessment and monitoring of mitigation plans for compliance to ensure the management of all compliance risks to an acceptable level.
Consulting with Divisions to develop metrics demonstrating compliance progress and effectiveness. Track the implementation of mitigation activities of compliance. Create, update, and modify monthly reporting mechanisms (reports, dashboards, etc.) to communicate status of compliance mitigation efforts. Standardize and coach Divisions regarding consistent reporting principles.
Preparing documentation and presentation materials for various levels of management to include executive and board-level audiences. Review compliance documentation to ensure clear relationships between risk drivers, mitigation activities and metrics.
Supervising staff by making hiring and pay decisions, assigning work, providing training, developing performance plans and coaching staff, evaluating performance and taking corrective actions, when appropriate.
Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies, Business, Finance, or closely related field
Seven (7) years' experience in regulatory compliance
Project Management experience
Program Development Experience
Policy and Process Analysis and Development
Ability to balance a strategic, long-term perspective simultaneously with an immediate consideration for business impacts, resulting from various projects and initiatives.

Master's Degree in Business, Finance, or closely related field
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Ten (10)+ years' experience in regulatory compliance
Prior experience in the power distribution industry
Proven track record of leadership
