JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking a Compliance Manager to join our team in Mendota, CA. The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring all California facilities remain compliant under state law and will work closely with the Department of Agriculture and State law enforcement. A successful candidate has the ability apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various departments and has previous experience monitoring, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies.

CORE JOB DUTIES

Compliance:

  • Conduct inspections with the Department of Health and California State Police when necessary

  • Ensure all money collected by the logistics team is properly logged prior to armored car pick up

  • Monitor BioTrack for product returns; communicate any issues to appropriate department and work with sales to provide BioTrack information to assist dispensaries when issues arise

  • Collect, audit, and file required paperwork from all department to ensure compliance

  • Prepare compliance status report for VP of Compliance

  • Collect and file all signed manifest and QC checks

  • Confirm that all new packaging and labeling is compliant prior to distribution

  • Train staff on state regulations and Cresco Standard Operating Procedures to ensure full compliance

  • Audit departments on a quarterly basis for compliance

Inventory:

  • Prepare weekly cultivation and inventory inspection reports for all facilities

  • Monitor inventory losses and assist in developing processes and procedures to reduce loss in all departments

  • Ensure full inventory is completed at all facilities; investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies

  • Review all inventory reports and files

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or similar field

  • Minimum of 3 years of compliance experience, ideally in the regulated cannabis industry or another regulated industry, such as alcohol, tobacco, or manufacturing

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

  • Must have the ability to develop and foster strong working relationships throughout all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills; the ability to either predict and / or identify and drive problem/issue to resolution in partnership with stakeholders

  • Excellent people and communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to successfully explain complex matters and provide persuasive support for positions with internal stakeholders, outside partners, and to communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to successfully manage a high-volume workload with tight deadlines

  • Detail-oriented and ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities

  • Capable of handling confidential information discreetly and professionally

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge or ability to develop working knowledge of all California regulations

  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Cardinal Health is looking for a highly motivated pharmacist interested in managing a company owned 340B Contract Retail Pharmacy located within a partner health center. Our pharmacists play an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities that are most in need. This includes immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management, and management of high risk patients. Pharmacy Hours: Monday, 10:00AM - 6:30PM, Tuesday through Friday 9:00AM - 5:30PM. Closed weekends and major holidays. Parata machine inside pharmacy and a great support staff. Accountabilities: * Collaboration with administrative and physician leadership within partner Community Health Centers to implement pharmacist driven clinical and dispensing services to the patients served * Develop and implement collaborative practice agreements to help drive patient medication compliance for high risk patients * Implement best practices and ensure department compliance with 340B rules and regulations * Ensuring adequate staffing is present to fulfill the needs of the pharmacy or pharmacy department. * Maintaining accurate records of all prescription medication received and dispensed. * Ensure policies are in place regarding accurate dispensing and labeling of prescriptions and those policies are followed. * Ensure that security of the prescription area and its contents are maintained at all times, including the restriction of persons unauthorized by the pharmacist on duty from being present in the prescription area while the pharmacist is temporarily absent but within the premises and the reporting of any thefts and/or diversions of controlled substances are reported upon discovery to the Office of Drug Control and the Drug Enforcement Administration pursuant to Federal and State requirements. * Ensuring only pharmacists and interns or externs under immediate personal supervision provide professional consultation with patients and physicians. * Not allowing misbranded, deteriorated, adulterated, improperly stored or outdated drugs or any drugs marked ''sample'' or with any like designation or meaning are dispensed or present in the active stock in the pharmacy. * Maintaining the prescription area in an orderly and sanitary manner. * Maintaining that pharmacy and all pharmacy personnel comply with all Federal and State statutes, rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
