The location for this role is flexible and can be based in Purchase, NY, Chicago, IL or Plano, TX.

In this role, you will be supporting the North America sector - including Pepsi Beverages North America, Frito-Lay US, Pepsi Foods Canada, and Quaker Foods. This role will report into the Director of Compliance & Ethics for PepsiCo's North America sector based in Purchase, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Implement all aspects of PepsiCo's Global Compliance and Ethics program in North America. This will include Investigations of Potentially Significant Violations (PSVs) of the Code of Conduct, which includes investigation strategy, document analysis; interviews; closing reports; stakeholder engagement, and determining/implementing remediation actions.

  • Responsible for annual frontline Code of Conduct training covering approximately 80,000 employees, including developing educational materials, working with an external vendor to create the training video and collaborating with North America HR teams to roll out training.

  • Ensuring success of North America Speak Up program by providing training, support, and guidance to Investigations Center of Excellence (COE), including training on investigations best practices; interview techniques and writing effective closing reports. Advise on complex investigations when needed by COE or when escalated by C&E Analyst.

  • Significant responsibility for franchise bottler engagement initiative; including developing materials; participating in meetings with bottlers; and supporting franchise bottler compliance program development.

  • Significant responsibility for North America annual risk assessments, including obtaining insights / identifying trends in Speak Up, Conflicts of Interest disclosures; pre-approval requests involving government officials and remediation opportunities in one sector that may be applicable in the other. Also participate in stakeholder interviews and remediation/ action planning for opportunities identified.

  • Identifying and working to remediate compliance risks to North America's businesses identified through various avenues (e.g., Speak Up, internal risk assessments, corporate audits, etc.). Responsible for working cross-functionally to ensure implementation of PSV remediation actions.

  • Participate in quarterly processes for both sectors, including analysis, trend and risk identification, and creating materials for Control Environment Council (CEC) and Division/Region quarter close meetings.

  • Evaluating conflict of interest disclosures (~1,000 annually) to identify necessary action plans and collaborating with HR and/or Control to create and communicate those action plans. Providing support to C&E NA Analyst to determine outcome of more complex disclosures and ensure appropriate stakeholder input and alignment.

  • Work collaboratively with the Global C&E team on projects or other assignments from the Chief C&E Officer and/ or Sector C&E Officer.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 - $172,100 based on a full-time schedule.

  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.

  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 5 years' experience in Compliance & Ethics, Control, HR and/or Internal Audit including experience conducting investigations, auditing company records and data analysis

  • Highly ethical individual who displays sound judgment

  • Innovative and collaborative team player with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

  • High level of discretion in handing sensitive and confidential information

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently to manage multiple, deadline-driven priorities in a fast-paced work environment

  • Very strong Excel & PowerPoint proficiency to analyze and creatively communicate data in multiple formats including reports and presentations

  • Process oriented & highly organized with keen attention to detail

  • Professional Certification in Compliance & Ethics or other relevant fields

  • Periodic travel required (average once per quarter)
