We are looking for a result oriented individual who will process senior living housing applications to ensure compliance with and compliance with federal, state and program-specific regulatory requirements, including: LIHTC, Home, HUD, Fair Housing, HIPAA, and other financial programs.
If you're good at:
Attention to details, and understanding local, state and federal compliance issues and regulations.
Getting up every morning with the attitude of what can I do to make a difference in someone's life? "I can't" is not in your vocabulary.
Able to maintain accurate records and establish file maintenance procedures
Assist team members and residents with understanding Tax Credit compliance rules, regulations and procedures.
Communicating clearly. You write well. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone, and you're comfortable communicating in writing and over the phone.
To be the ideal Compliance Coordinator expert for this role:
Must be willing to travel and support two communities in Chicago, IL and Melrose Park, IL.
Knowledge and/or experience in processing application for income verification.
Knowledge of tax credit regulations required.
Ability to interpret regulations and laws and disseminate information.
Strong verbal, written and public speaking skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task, develop and execute solutions to day-to-day issues, meet deadlines, and ability to effectively negotiate with external customers/vendors to obtain information.
Strong computer and writing skills are required.
Encourage a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation with co-workers, managers and others with whom contact is made.
