Compliance Coordinator - Compliance

Reports To

Compliance Supervisor

Summary

This role will work closely with all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams at the Accounting Shared Services center and other Genuine Parts Company business units.

Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Compliance Supervisor/Manager

  • Monitors data integrity in JDE and PeopleSoft including interfaces

  • Reviews intercompany transactions

  • Performs self-audits on AP and AR

  • Facilitates various subsidiary meetings monthly

  • Gathers info for auditors

  • Compiles accuracy stats

  • Complete needed account reconciliations

  • Identifies trends and root causes to increase accuracy and customer satisfaction

  • Additional tasks as determined by Compliance management

Experience

  • PeopleSoft/AS400/JDE experience a plus

  • Demonstrated accounting ability

  • Above average research and resolution skills

  • Strong math aptitude and analytical ability

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Self-starter, able to work in fast paced environment

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation skills

  • Ability to work on multiple assignments with competing priorities

  • Strong Excel Knowledge

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration

Physical Requirements

  • Sit, Stand, Walk and Stoop for a prolonged period

  • Talk, Hear, and use hands to finger and handle controls and office equipment

  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
