Complete all actions related to the security controls assessment of systems using ICD 503/CNSSI 1253/NIST 800-53/NIST Cybersecurity Framework or a similar framework authorized by the IC CIO to review systems, programs, and other elements to determine compliance.

Conduct compliance assessments on complex systems using common compliance assessment methodology, tools, and applications to determine adherence with cyber security frameworks.

Independent verification and validation of security controls of systems owned and maintained by external organizations

Technical and policy-based controls reviews, periodic review to verify compliance, and post-assessments throughout the lifecycle of a system


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering or a closely related Cyber Security, Engineering or IT discipline)

At least six (6) years conducting compliance assessments under ICD 503/CNSSI 1253/NIST 800-53/NIST Cybersecurity Framework or similar framework.


Experience leading dozens of compliance assessments.

Familiar with, and capable of, participating on penetration tests.

Security Requirements:
Must currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
