Compliance Apprentice

UST testing company is actively seeking bright, mechanically inclined, and self-motivated individuals who want to work in a career in the environmental protection testing industry. Mechanical experience is a plus or a self-motivated person who intuitively sees how things work (machinery, fixing things, methodical) applicant is desired. On-the-job training and in-house training is our company method.

Our company is looking for an individual who is a leader, patient, self-guided, observant and who demonstrates an exceptional work ethic to join our team of other highly qualified technicians. Applicants must also have a clean driving record and the ability to attain required certifications when application is required in their job.

Traveling is a must and a requirement with per diems offered to offset the cost of expenses.

Applicants may be required to complete a medical clearance, drug testing and a possible DOT examination. Any qualified and current DOT experience is welcomed!

Experienced Technician(s) Our in-field service technician(s) perform all required state/federal test requirements on underground storage tanks meeting mandated due dates for compliance inspections.

PS&C technicians are licensed to meet manufacturer and state requirements for completion of testing procedures.

On-site training available.

Requirements:

• Able to work under supervision and independently

• Excellent driving record

• Clean criminal history

• Able to lift up to 60 pounds

• Position requires stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing of ladders

• Able to use hand and power tools

• Follow strict safety and technical protocols

• Extensive travel in company-furnished vehicle

• Ability to be away from home for a week at a time, with company-paid travel expenses.
