We are seeking an experienced compliance professional to ensure our operations meet regulatory standards and industry best practices. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and implement compliance strategies that support our ambitious growth trajectory while maintaining our commitment to integrity and quality. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Head of Legal, you will play a crucial part in shaping and enhancing our compliance practices and maintaining a culture of compliance throughout the company. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to federal, state regulations, and contract requirements.

  • Monitor regulatory changes, assess their impact, and recommend adjustments to maintain compliance.

  • Foster a culture of integrity and legal compliance throughout the organization.

  • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as required.

  • Provide guidance, training, and support on compliance matters.

  • Investigate incidents, violations, and complaints, and implement corrective actions and remediation measures.

  • Build effective relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and partners.

  • Exchange best practices, and address compliance inquiries.

  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, filings, and disclosures in compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring timely and accurate submission to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Develop data driven metrics to track progress and report on ethics and compliance program developments to senior management.

  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and audits.

  • Participate in other projects as needed and contribute to the areas where you have skills.

  • Other professional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance role within highly regulated industry, such as space, defense, intelligence or national security.

  • Experience creating and successfully managing a compliance program in a government contractor setting.

  • Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, standards and best practices in connection with international trade, data security, or spectrum management.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of multiple projects and guide teams through challenges.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings, and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

  • Resilience, resourcefulness, and the ability to make decisions with imperfect information.

Desired Qualifications

  • Compliance experience in space, defense, intelligence, and/or national security industry.

  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
