Mission: Bill.com seeks a Compliance Analyst for our money services business. The Compliance Analyst will report to the Head of Compliance and will support the reporting and renewal process of the licensing program.
Prepare reports as required by all relevant federal and state regulations.
Monitoring changes in regulatory environment to maintain compliance.
Coordinating compliance processes with compliance, accounting and operations teams as well as other business units.
Researching and tracking applicable state and federal regulations and engaging with state regulators in responding to inquiries.
Maintaining policies and procedures related to regulatory reporting and renewal processes.
Assist in coordinating exams and audits requests from regulators or agencies and assist in the delivery of exam and audit materials in a timely and proactively manner.
Assist in preparing board materials and ad-hoc status reports in an effort to inform board members and senior executives of licensing activities that may be critical or impacting to the company.
Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory licensing requirements and update policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory updates and changes.
Bachelor's Degree and/or 5+ years professional experience
Robust knowledge of state and federal licensing and reporting requirements
Experience using the NMLS system.
5+ years of experience within a legal or compliance department preferred
Prior experience in the payments or financial institution industries preferred
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to implement effective compliance controls and licensing programs
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills
Sound judgment, strong work ethic, and commitment to ethical behavior
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and still meet high quality standards under pressure
