The Compliance Analyst will leverage data analytics to monitor, manage and support effective compliance programs. Using strong project management skills, the Compliance Analyst will partner with the organization to manage and track compliance programs and metrics from beginning to end, determining efficiency of the programs.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Assist in the building and maintenance of Meijer compliance programs.

  • Develop compliance policies and procedures using research of compliance laws and enforcement trends to align with industry standards.

  • Answering questions on compliance policies as part of a Center of Excellence.

  • Conducting compliance training and creating guidance documentation.

  • Project managing compliance initiatives and driving communication with stakeholders to meet deadlines.

  • Administrating compliance program technologies to be used by business partners throughout the organization.

  • Creating compliance data analytics and visualizations, structuring raw data, maintaining data integrity, designing risk-based monitoring & metrics, and identifying trends/patterns/anomalies in large data sets.

  • Consulting with stakeholders on alleged violations of compliance, mitigating compliance risk, and continuous improvement of compliance programs.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, public administration, or a related subject matter (e.g., law, risk management, audit, food or product safety, healthcare, environment health and safety, data analytics).

  • 5+ years of compliance experience for a retailer, regulated industry, or government function.

  • 1+ years of data analytics experience, preferably using Microsoft Power BI.

  • Preferred professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Project Management, Certified Corporate Compliance Professional (CCEP), Paralegal/Legal research, Data Analytics.

  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead and address diverse stakeholder groups at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to prioritize, perform independently, think analytically, and creatively solve problems.
