DDI Technology is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join the team at our facility in Irmo, SC.
DDI Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IAA, and RB Global, Inc., provides a complete automotive titling and registration suite for financial institutions and dealers dedicated to excellence, DDI continues to focus on superior products, professional and consulting services in the areas of Electronic Liens and Titles.
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for execution of the quality assurance program focused on electronic title and vehicle registration processes. Supports continuous improvement procedures, systems, training, and compliance programs. Must know, practice and ensure that company policies and procedures and state and federal laws are followed at all times. Generates and both quantitative and qualitative feedback via in person audits to support the organization in achieving and maintaining operational success. Collaborates with multiple customers and departments including employees from field operations and corporate functions: Demonstrates a clear commitment to the highest standards of integrity, professional and personal conduct and holds others to the same standard.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance with outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies
Maintain policies and procedures as required
Maintain regulatory knowledge of vehicle dealers and financial institutions
Assist in the development of audit programs for internal audit and operational management reviews
Assist in planning audits and support projects of financial, operational and IT functions, including defining scope of work and level of effort
Work as part of a team to complete tasks timely as set forth in the annual audit plan.
Collaborate and maintain strong and productive relationships with management and business stakeholders
Research to determine root cause of audit finding and assist with the development of remediation plan
Review contracts for Compliance requirements, tracking of initial and ongoing state contract requirements, fulfilling state contract audit requests
Responding to and/or coordinating the response to vendor due diligence requests
Other related duties as assigned by management.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
3 years of experience

18 years of age or older

Excellent project management skills with an ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
Ability to effectively and confidently discuss audit findings and/or control gaps with leadership and develop business-focused recommendations to strengthen controls
Deals successfully with ambiguity, managing multiple priorities and able to lead organization through complex changes
Inquisitive mindset with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate end to end business processes
Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced culture, changes in the environment and shifts in priorities
Microsoft Office/Excel proficient

Preferred Skills:

Strong writing and verbal communication skills with ability to work well with colleagues
Strong project management and organization skills
Experience working with state agencies
Experience with Vehicle Titling and Automotive Dealers
