Coastal Credit is a National Sub-Prime Auto Lender with 30+ years of success in the Automotive Marketplace. We are currently looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our team at our headquarters in Indy.

Position Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the CMS

  • Creating and managing Policy and Procedures

  • Ensuring that all operating manuals, policies and procedures stay current with regulation changes

  • Compliance Training

  • Monitoring and corrective action for operational activities in relation to compliance with applicable rules and regulations

  • Assist with responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies and complete required compliance documentation

  • Assist with state regulatory licensing procedures

  • Assist in processing bankruptcy records as it relates to proper reporting

  • Help process indirect credit report disputes through e-Oscar

  • Help process direct credit report disputes

  • May be assigned other Compliance duties and special projects

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Finance, Business or another related field. Direct field experience considered in lieu of education

  • Working knowledge of automobile finance, collections, loan services, and/or specialty areas

  • Familiarity with indirect loan documentation i.e. contracts, ancillary products, certificates, etc.

VIEW JOBS 3/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-13T00:00 Position Summary Position is responsible for ushering contracts through the procurement process and providing functional support, performance analysis, and administrative support to BNS administration as it relates to Departmental contracts. Manage and monitor the compliance of all BNS contracts. Position Responsibilities Administers contract approval process; log and assist in preparation of contracts; ensure appropriate contract documents are obtained; key contact person for contracts at BNS and for contractors. Maintains and administers contractor evaluation process and compliance documentation; develop liaison with other major city departments to share information on contractors. Manage the contract process between division contracts, corporation council, purchasing, finance, and appropriate boards. Develops and/or generates and distributes compliance reports. Monitors Not to Exceed limits for contact expenditures. Reviews annual contracts that are expiring and follow up to renew, re-solicit or close said contracts. Assists with the contract process with all appropriate accompanying documents. Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc. via Department Sharepoint site. Responds to and resolve most questions and issues, referring only the most complex to the next level. Identifies opportunities or issues related to contract performance that result in formal recommendations to appropriate management staff. Administers the Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) process and reports demonstrating progress towards goal of increasing MBE/WBE participation in contracts for BNS. This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field of study and at least three (3) years of related work experience required. Computer knowledge of spreadsheet(s), database(s), MS Office, and other software is also required. Must be able to type and create reports, and spreadsheets as needed. Ability to read and interpret documents such as City ordinances, contracts and policies. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to speak in public forums and respond to questions. Computer and office equipment knowledge. Must be able to utilize computer for word processing functions, generate spreadsheets as needed, and enter data into established database management systems. Must be able to demonstrate creative ability when presented with unformulated projects and/or ideas. Must have and retain a valid Indiana Driver's License and have the ability to operate a city vehicle if required. Employee in this position receives direction from the Administrator/CFO of the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services. Incumbent must certify in the appropriate, approved disciplines as prescribed by the Director of Business and Neighborhood Services to maintain employment. Independent Judgment Independent judgment is regularly utilized when there are no available policies and procedures and error in judgment may cause inconsistencies and inconveniences as well as regulatory and budgetary problems. Incumbent interacts with others within the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services, other City departments, County agencies, vendors, etc. This position requires knowledge of established policies and procedures of the Purchasing Division.
