This is a full-time, Salary exempt position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Individual will work closely with the Director of Compliance and Training Manager to facilitate organization's compliance with consumer and collection laws, regulations and best practices.

Job Summary:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assisting the Director of compliance in developing, implementing and enforcing a detailed compliance program to ensure compliance with FDCPA/UDAAP/TCPA regulations as well as firm ad client specific policies.

  • Responding to client audit requests and assisting with remediation responses and implementation

  • Review and reporting of consumer complaints, disputes, and hardship claims

  • Monitoring for compliance with internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements

  • Developing Desk Procedures and training materials

Skills/Knowledge/Education:

  • Minimum (2) two years of experience in compliance, quality assurance or audit role is required preferably in the financial services industry

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Degree preferred but not required.

  • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience in collections or financial industry preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOP Standard Operating Procedures and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
