Agilysys is hiring for a Compliance Analyst.
The successful candidate will join the global Information Technology team with a primary focus on IT Governance. Responsibilities include documenting and establishing IT standards, Business Continuity planning, monitoring policy effectiveness and implementation, ensuring IT policy/procedural awareness, staying aware of IT management and compliance processes, recommending IT security practices to executive management, plus other IT regulatory requirements, as well as assisting internal and external auditors with audits.
Your duties will include:
Provide expertise by way of multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience working with: Legal, eDiscovery, Internal Audit, Information Technology/Security, Privacy and Compliance/Risk.
Develops, maintains, and manages detailed project plans, action items, and milestone timelines for all assigned projects.
Internal and external audit liaison.
Identify improvements and breakdowns in IT governance elements with significant business impact and feed into IT risk management function.
Provide inputs into IT disaster recovery process and business continuity.
Perform review and validation of documentation and evidence of compliance.
Collaborate with peers and stakeholders on compliance schedules and deliverables.
Identify and implement process improvements for internal processes and those related to other IT teams.
Requirements for success:
PCI, SOC 1 & 2, CSI or NIST
Ability to quickly grasp the situation and resolve problems.
Ability to use and analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities.
Ability to build positive working relationships with subject matter experts
In addition to project work, the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel in a clear manner
Strong knowledge of information lifecycle management, Information Governance goals and objectives.
Must be willing to complete all license applications, background checks, security checks and/or any other documentation, and provide copies of any identification documents required by any State, Federal or Tribal governmental agency in order to maintain compliance with their laws and to successfully perform in the role.
