Compliance Administrator

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Compliance Administrator I.

Primarily assist with corporate governance and legal / compliance administration and, as directed by supervisor, provides backup assistance to the Compliance Team and the Permit/Licensing Compliance Specialist.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

  • 5+ years of Executive Administration support

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

  • Business experience working in a high-pressure environment that requires multi-tasking, prioritizing and flexibility

  • Access knowledge (including creation of queries, creating forms and running reports)

  • Advanced Excel (i.e. in-depth queries, pivot tables, formulas and reporting analysis)

  • Access knowledge (i.e. creation of queries, forms and reports)

  • SharePoint- ability to learn if no experience

  • Document management software

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Qualifications * BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. * Minimum of 3 years of audit experience. * CPA or CIA certification is a plus. * Intermediate level experience in a related role with experience in business, functional and people management, with proven abilities in taking responsibility for issuing to stakeholders high quality deliverables according to strict timetables. * Specific subject matter expertise regarding the financial services industry including Compliance specific knowledge relating to culture, conduct, and ethics is a plus. * Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views.
