The Competitive Intelligence Specialist is responsible for a broad range of activities in support of secondary strategic and competitive information gathering and analysis. Collects competitive and company specific information, provides market and competitor analysis, and makes recommendations that proactively drive informed business decisions to positively impact market share or profitability.

The Competitive Intelligence Specialist is a highly visible role that supports all departments as well as senior leadership throughout the organization. This position handles highly confidential information. Primary Responsibility Extracts intelligence data from key source documents and locates/researches new sources of information to support intelligence collection and production.

Disseminates weekly industry/intelligence newsletters and maintains and updates intelligence dissemination portal for HealthNow. Responds to ad hoc intelligence requests from a variety of HealthNow departments in a timely manner. Assists in analysis and production of intelligence products including HealthNow's Environmental Assessment.

Utilizes technology to improve intelligence gathering and dissemination across the organization. Knowledge and Skills Ability to take disparate events and information and see the correlation to drive to findings that lead to actionable insights. Ability to identify trends, project potential and implications to the business both short term and long term.

Strong quantitative analysis capability. Proficiency finding data and information sources to perform secondary research. Demonstrated experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing with a variety of groups and individuals.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to deliver findings and recommendations in suitable format for various levels of management and employees. Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience Masters degree is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. In the Mission Systems' sector, you'll join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe. The qualified applicant will work in our Buffalo, New York office, where we focus on the development and production of state-of-the-art Simulation Systems solutions. The Simulation and Intelligence Analyst provides mission-critical threat radar system modeling to end-users, ensuring Simulation Systems are being utilized successfully with a high level of fidelity. This involves detailed signal and system intelligence analysis, research, modeling, simulation, and verification to ensure realistic threat radar models are created to satisfy the mission requirements of the end user. The Simulation and Intelligence Analyst will perform verification at customer locations, perform digital and analog signal analysis, and incorporate/program threat models into the customer prime mission equipment. The Simulation and Intelligence Analyst will also perform end-user training, traveling world-wide to customer locations to provide training for 1-2 weeks in duration. The training is given to technical audiences of 4-30 people, involving a high level of customer interaction, question-and-answer sessions and acceptance testing. The Analyst will also support user conferences and business development activities to discuss the latest trends in threat radar systems, and demonstrate the latest technology of the company's product line. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with internal management, as well as existing and new customers; and will work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing requirements and priorities. The candidate must be able to self-manage the completion of tasks and work within defined budgets. * This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. BUFMSTR This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4 based on the qualifications below. Basic Qualifications for a level 3: * Bachelor's degree in a related technical field plus 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in a related technical field plus 3 years of relevant experience. 9 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree. * Experience performing SIGINT/ELINT intelligence analysis or simulation of threat radar systems. * Knowledge of radar signal characteristics including experience with digital signal analysis tools and RF test equipment to verify signal characteristics. * Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical audiences. * Ability to teach end technical users on prime mission equipment operation. * Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions. * Ability to travel to domestic and foreign locations up to 25% based upon need. * U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance and ability to obtain special access programs.
