Execute, implement, and maintain testing methods, procedures, and databases on a variety of business equipment, software, and substrates. Provides first-level analysis to lab manager and identifies critical areas of interest on the test subject. Assists with the creation of all competitive assets and deliverables in an effort to support RUS Marketing field and sales personnel.


  • Executes various evaluations on a variety of products, solutions, and substrates

  • Generates quantitative data around all testing methods

  • Generates data based on various forms of research

  • Interface with other groups on behalf of the CAT Center when needed.

  • Must maintain competency with the understanding of competitive product and solution features and functions.

  • Creation and development of complex technical data which lead to the creation of reports, articles, multimedia and presentations

  • Work closely with and assist RUSA internal and field organizations with the identification of appropriate competitive products within various regions across the United States, Canada, and Latin America

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of functional and technical differences between RAC and competitive products and solutions with the ability to convey this information in an easy to understand fashion to sales, marketing, and customers

  • Installation, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of competitive technologies within a laboratory environment

  • Assist with development and maintenance of archival procedures for all test records and reports

  • Maintain product and resource inventory within the CAT Center

  • Assists with the maintenance of all assets including products and IT resources.

  • Assist third-party vendors with projects as needed

  • Develops a clear understanding of collateral requirements from our customers, sales, and field organizations

  • Assists In determining essential competitive information required by sales organizations

  • Responsible for supporting all sales and marketing channels globally

  • Must be able to effectively present findings to a variety of people within the organization

  • Must be able to effectively train and educate on subject

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

Typically Required:

  • 2 year college degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 2-3 years in a marketing or sales role.

  • 5+ years experience in product and solution sales and/or support.

  • Must have a demonstrated knowledge of products and solutions.

  • Ability to use standard Microsoft office and Desk Top Publishing applications.

  • Ability to use standard Adobe products , Primarily Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

  • A general understanding of the science of usability, productivity, or image quality is preferred.
