Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Perform daily set-up and maintenance of racefacilities.

  • Work with other staff and departments to promote a positive guest experience.

  • Provide assistance with event venue set-up, as needed.

  • Setting and maintaining daily public race courses and private group courses.

  • Communication, via radio or phone, with Ski Patrol to inform them of injuries.

  • Event venue construction - installing fence, tents, banners, cabling, etc.

  • Maintain race facilities to ensure safety of all guests and staff.

  • Shovel and rake starts and decks to maintain snow levels and a safe environment for guests and staff.

  • Fence/barrier maintenance, trash and snow removal.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to, and sometimes more than, 50lbs - required.

  • Ability to stand outside in all weather conditions, for 8+ hours per day - required.

  • Ability to ski outside in all weather conditions, for 8+ hours per day - required.

  • Valid U.S. Driver's license - required.

  • Ability to work with power tools (cordless drills, etc.) - required.

  • High school diploma - required.

  • Race course operations -preferred.

  • Valid U.S. Driver's License, USSA officials license - preferred.

  • Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English - required.

  • Intermediate or higher skiing ability - required.

  • Racing Background -preferred

  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays - required.

  • Ability to operate a snowmobile (need availddriver's license) - preferred.

Reach Your Peak.   Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): * Clearly and accurately instructing assigned levels of skiing or snowboarding to students, both physically and verbally. * Ensuring that students are matched to appropriate skier/snowboarding skill level and working with supervisors/managers to make appropriate changes when necessary.  * Provide a safe and fun learning environment through exceptional class handling and creativity using our teaching handbook as a guide. * Assisting in operational responsibilities of Ski & Snowboard programs including but not limited to registration process, directing guests to appropriate equipment fitting source or lesson meeting place, upkeep of outdoor teaching areas and cleanliness of facilities. * Attend morning meetings. * Must be able to discuss the lesson content and evaluate the progress of the lesson with the guest. * Must have high level of guest service skills and experience. * Assisting guests with transportation of equipment. * Assisting guests to load and unload the chairlift. * Communicating instructions and helping guests to their feet during a lesson. * Arrive to work on time prepared for all duties within job description. * Able to work cooperatively with staff and other departments to ensure safety, security and enjoyment of our guests. * Knowledge and awareness of the environment.
