What will I be doing?
As a Compensation Systems Analyst you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Under the guidance and direction of the Compensation Systems Manager, conducts various analyses' of new and existing compensation plans and other business and financial data to understand impact on team member performance, incentive plan cost and effectiveness, current trends and other performance indicators that impact the sales and marketing organizations. Responsible for working with Business Operations in implementing incentive plans into Compensation Systems. As well as maintenance of incentive plans inside the system. Position also requires collaboration with business clients to understand proposed requirements, complex business processes, and work with subject matter experts to identify best solutions.
Position requires teamwork, attention to detail, excellent problem solving, organization, flexibility, and written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must possess the ability to bridge the gap between IT skills and understanding of databases with HR/Sales Compensation, and Internal Audit requirements. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff at all levels of the organization, including internal and cross-departmental teams, consistently displaying a high level of professionalism.
Team members in this role are expected to continuously increase HGV's knowledge and understanding of Compensation Systems.
Collaborate with teams from multiple business functions (Payroll, IT, Human Resources, Business Management, Sales & Marketing) to accurately understand business needs and to develop consensus for viable solutions
Assist in the refinement of existing and development of new policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of HGV Sales & Marketing organizations.
Consult and collaborate with management and other consultants to ensure adherence to established company guidelines, policies and best practices
Collaborate on design and implementation of Team Member facing products
Actively working with project management team to prioritize design and build functions
Key in month to month updates in Compensation System
Gather requirements, design and build of variable compensation plans in Compensation System
Collaborate with business partners to troubleshoot current production issues and design/build solutions.
Research system related issues and apply variable compensation design concepts and principals to propose practical alternatives and design appropriate solutions
Become HGV system expert
Document system wide and site specific compensation processes and design for post-production reference and knowledge transfer
Maintain ITGC and SOX controls
