Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00

The Compensation & HR Analyst coordinates the agency's compensation programs in alignment with goals and mission, including facilitating the job evaluation process, conducting salary reviews, and ensuring governance for compensation decisions. The position will be responsible for capturing, assessing, and reporting HR performance metrics, and supporting projects within the HR organization. The hybrid schedule is Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm working 3 days in the office / 2 days at home.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather and analyze compensation data from internal and external sources to drive compensation initiatives and outcomes. Utilizes analysis on collected internal and external market wage data to prepare and present summary reports and salary recommendations.

  • Coordinate mass market adjustments for designated position groups, including modeling various scenarios, assessing cost impacts, working with program leaders regarding communication plan, facilitating approvals process and working with HRIS Administrator to implement large-scale salary increases.

  • Maintain and update salary structure, including starting rate structures. Communicate changes to the Talent Acquisition team.

  • Capture HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the UKG HRIS system, prepare reports of data results, present and explain findings to key stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Three (3) years' work experience in Human Resources including exposure to HR Operations, Compensation Analysis, HRIS, Project tracking experience, and Talent Management, including knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to compensation programs, company policies, and operations.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with employees at all levels to achieve positive outcomes.

  • SHRM certification (SHRM-CP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credentials or comparable certification.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of foundational HR data, systems, and processes. Ability to understand data and communicate data in a manner that is clearly understood by others. Proficiency with HRIS systems and market-software databases.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, strong follow-up, and attention to detail.

  • Analytical/metrics driven thinking and approach to problem solving. Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.

  • Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations.

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project. Experience with HCM platforms.

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
