Compensation Consultant, Waveworks

The Compensation Consultant will be responsible for administering compensation tasks related to the implementation of Oracle Cloud, with a strong emphasis on job evaluation and restructuring. This role involves collaborating with project stakeholders and serving as a technical expert in configuring the system to meet compensation needs. The consultant will ensure the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations and will provide training to team members and end users on compensation software, tools, and administration guidelines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced skills in Excel

• Proficiency in HRIS systems

• Excellent analytical skills

• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Self-starter with a track record of developing and implementing creative solutions to business challenges

• Must be able to interact professionally at all levels within the organization and develop positive relationships with members of the organizational community

• Must be able to prepare reports and presentations independently and present ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

• Excellent organizational skills, to include the ability to prioritize projects and meet established or anticipated deadlines

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed, exercise sound judgment and maintain professional objectivity

• Prior experience leading project teams and activities independently, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others as part of a project team

• Working knowledge of, and the ability to interpret, federal and state employment laws, and the ability to incorporate these laws into procedures and guidance. Ability to identify potential liability under applicable employment laws

• Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience in compensation administration

• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud

• PHR/SPHR/CCP certification

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field
