This is a full-time, individual contributor position at Weyerhaeuser's Corporate Headquarters in Seattle, WA. This position is a member of the Compensation and Benefits Team.
The Data Analyst role provides analysis and interpretation of plan data and performance, developing recommendations that are in alignment with Company strategies and goals. This position is accountable to:
Conduct analysis of complex benefit and compensation data to recommend data-driven, strategic actions for plan design and vendor administration
Ensure data integrity within benefit processing systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and simplification
Primary user of benefits data warehouse (IBM Watson Health) an AI tool new to our Benefits Team
Acts as benefits and compensation liaison to HRIS
Monitor compensation and benefit plan performance for department dashboards
Ensure integrity and on-time delivery of data utilized for annual underwriting and actuarial valuations
Maintain effective working relationships with key resources in Weyerhaeuser's Employee Service Center, HRIS and finance organizations
Respond to third-party survey requests
Responsible for maintaining compensation market pricing tool and job code table maintenance
Primary resource for data feeds to stock plan, deferred comp and other benefit plan vendors
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Three years of experience performing data analysis for strategic recommendations
Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to perform independent in-depth analysis
Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
Must be an innovative, strategic problem solver
Excellent planning and organizational skills including project and time management
High degree of accuracy and detail management
Experience with HR systems, preferably PeopleSoft
Experience working with compensation and benefit packages
Experience with IBM Watson a plus
