Workday is looking for a versatile and experienced professional to join the team as an Compensation Analyst. The ideal candidate is able to consistently execute on tasks and has an eye for process improvement. He/she is a creative problem solver and views challenges as opportunities to enhance their technical skill-set. Above all else, he/she brings a strong sense of ownership to any project they are assigned and delivers high-quality results. This role will be responsible for performing key analyses during month-end close, developing processes for managing exceptions, and will assist on special projects to improve the end-to-end commissions process.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Develop and deliver monthly/quarterly dashboards and reports on quota and earnings performance for senior leadership in Finance and Sales
Develop scalable business processes for key duties, including but not limited to: credit/commission validation, compensation plan document generation, payroll submission
Respond to queries from Sales and cross-functional partners regarding commission payout, sales performance, and commission plans
Participate in the annual commission plan design cycle and perform analyses to inform potential plan improvements and design changes
Participate in and/or lead various special projects, as assigned
3+ years of work experience, preferably in Finance, Sales Compensation, or Operations
Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments
Strong proficiency in Excel (array formulas, VBA)
Bachelors in Business, Finance, Mathematics or other analytical discipline
Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate within team and cross-functionally
Experience working with ICM tools: Xactly, Callidus, or Oracle Incentive Compensation
Experience in administering sales commissions
Experience in working with data reporting tools (Microsoft Access, Business Objects, OBIEE, etc.)
Interest and/or experience in project management
Proficient in PowerPoint
