About the role

The Roku Compensation and Benefits team is comprised of trusted consultants to our people business partners and the business leaders at Roku. We are responsible for the implementation, administration, and evolution of compensation programs across Roku globally.

Our ideal person will be an enthusiastic professional with a knack for getting things done, passionate about analysis, program design, and teamwork. Have the ability to communicate effectively, prioritize, and influence different groups is a must. High competence in the use of analytical tools and industry practices is also preferred. You must possess a high degree of integrity and handle sensitive, confidential data while consistently driving to get things done and done accurately. The desire to learn, continuously improve, and deliver consistent results and scalable solutions is paramount.

As a member of the team, the Compensation Analyst will be located at our headquarters in San Jose, CA.

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $135,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What you'll be doing

  • Work closely with people business partners, talent acquisition, and business leaders to communicate Roku's compensation strategy

  • Remain current on global compensation technical solutions and market competitive practices; introduce innovative solutions to enhance internal programs and processes

  • Effectively partner with people teams and the business leaders to manage, consult, and resolve compensation issues, particularly for offers, new positions, transfers, and promotions

  • Collect and analyze market data and maintain salary survey data; manage all benchmarking activity

  • Manage monthly equity grant process, data audits, and inquiries directed to the team inbox

  • Ability to develop compensation and financial models using data to advise on trends and findings to stakeholders and partner teams

  • Be an expert of major external survey methodologies and have deep insights in market data utilization globally

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of total compensation guidelines, job architecture and compensation tools for the company

We're excited if you have

  • College degree in business, finance, economics, or related field

  • 1 - 4 years of progressive global compensation or finance experiences with increasing levels of responsibility in identifying, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' challenges

  • Experience with Workday or other HRIS business processes, reporting, and merit cycles preferred

  • Outstanding analytical capabilities, experience with big data and interfacing between HRIS applications, reliable financial and compensation analysis skills, and ability to communicate persuasively with business partners to drive decision-making

  • Work independently to identify and drive solutions for multiple functions and client groups, utilizing subject matter expertise and knowledge of both internal and external business practices to improve products or service offerings

  • Excellent business acumen: strong team orientation with a collaborative style, which engages stakeholders and leads to good business decisions.

  • Advanced Excel skills are a must

  • Experience developing and rolling out scalable processes

  • Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills
