Audit jobs for content and review job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements to make recommendation on grade and level.
Collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position by participating in compensation surveys.
Review proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices.
Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems.
Review requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment.
Support in developing company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.
Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommend appropriate courses of action.
May prepare special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or stock options.
May include administration of domestic and/or international programs.
3-5 years of compensation experience
HR experience preferred
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Understanding of compensation in the areas of merit pay programs, incentive and bonus plans, job evaluation, and salary survey use and methodology
Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytic skill
