Compensation Analyst

We’re currently seeking to hire an experienced Compensation Analyst to join our team. As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring our organization remains competitive in the market by evaluating job positions, designing compensation packages, and implementing incentive programs aligned with the company's strategic goals.

This will be a Hybrid position at our Chicago, IL or Fort Worth, TX locations. Responsibilities: Conducts job evaluations, market analyses, and research to support compensation decisions and program recommendations. Maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions within the organization and ensure alignment with job duties performed.

Identifies process improvement and best practice opportunities for business processes. Documents new procedures and business process workflows. Participates in third-party compensation surveys.

Performs research with peer companies and similar external markets. Analyzes job profiles and specifications using job evaluation and leveling techniques. Aligns jobs and establishes compensation parameters equitable within the organization and competitive to the external market.

Ensures all reviewed jobs have the proper exemption status, meet compliance requirements, and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred, In lieu of a degree, 4 years of experience in compensation with a strong understanding of job evaluation techniques will be considered.

Minimum 3 years experience. Previous Supply Chain industry experience helpful, Railroad industry experience highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.

Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledgeable/ Proficiency of Compensation Software

• Payfactors proficiency a plus Compensation experience within Union environment, nice to have Ability to work well independently
