Create payment direction and wire requests monthly for invoices (currently we have 34 invoices to process monthly) 3. Answer general benefits questions in Benefits inbox (escalate others to HCS or seek me for assistance) 4. Print/retrieve invoices from HCS-Operations inbox 5.
Gather 34 invoices via printing off from inbox, or incoming US Postal mail, or download from benefits vendor website 6. Record date invoices sent to Finance, funding request date and payment release date on Invoice checklist to follow up to ensure all invoices have been paid for the month to avoid cancellations of coverage 7. Answer basic simple LOA questions, such as instructing employee how to file initial leave of absence claim 8.
Place employee on LOA status in Workday or return employee to active status in Workday; whichever is applicable 9. Approve COBRA events in Workday upon employee termination 10. Retrieve exceptions reports from weekly and bi-weekly file feeds from benefit vendors and research missing information such as ssn, dob, address etc. 11.
Send email notification to Voya to update employee addresses 12. Download daily Leave of Absence report from Liberty Mutual website 13. Ensure employee is contacted within 24 hours in response to benefits inbox inquiry 14.
Liaison with Shared Services Tiara and Leah and myself and Maria to ensure that employee inquiries have been handled in benefits and HCS-Operations inbox 15. Download monthly FSA-Commuter report from website 16. Reconcile FSA health and childcare deposits against Cognos reports to ensure employee deposits are accurate 17.
Reconcile HSA employee and employer contributions reports against Optum bank reports, send notice to Tara bi-weekly for suspension of HSA contributions for employees who have not gone through CIC process to establish Optum bank account 18. Direct employees to appropriate phone number for 401k and Retirement/Pension questions 19. Triage questions regarding leave variances or benefit deductions and work with other departments as needed to find answers, payroll, third party vendors etc 20.
Run ad hoc and standard reports as needed from Workday 21. Process Qualified Medical Support Orders

Knowledge of benefits administration, including: Medical, Dental, 401(k) and pension administration, health wellness initiatives preferred.
Ability to read and understand contracts.
Strong customer service skills for communicating with both internal employees and external vendors.
Understanding of basic math principals.
