Community Support Professional

The Mary T Family of Companies is seeking a part-time Community Support Professional to support individuals with disabilities in Montgomery county, Maryland, in the Olney area.

The Community Support Professional (CSP) supports individuals so they can live a self-directed life and participate in the community. Responsibilities include transportation (shopping, errands, appointments, to/from work), on-the-job coaching and support, activities of daily living, and teaching basic life skills like money management, budgeting, technology use, medication management, and more.

Schedules Available: Part-time, weekday, daytime hours

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED

• Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a reliable vehicle

• Flexibility to commute to other areas, if needed

• Must have the ability to pass a background and motor vehicle record check

• Must be able to attend a 4-day orientation held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Millersville, MD

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Basic computer skills
