Job Purpose/Description
Community Service Orientation Coordinator program.
Job Duties
Recruit, select, and train student leaders (March/April)
Speak on behalf of CSO program at first-year student orientation sessions (9 dates in May/June)
Create marketing video and materials to recruit student participants
Communicate with potential CSO participants and their families
Arrange for supplies, schedule rooms, and other CSO program needs
Plan daily schedule for all involved in CSO and facilitate its implementation, including:
Set up volunteer sites and facilitate on-going communication with site contacts
arrange and coordinate evening programs and entertainment
Implement program evaluation
Meet regularly with a member of Campus Ministry staff articulation of progress towards meeting goals, and dialogue about areas of concern.
Show hospitality, responsibility, professionalism, creativity, enthusiasm and integrity in their work.
Represent the Campus Ministry Center and all its programming in a positive way to students, parents, staff and faculty, and community members.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience as a participant and/or student leader for CSO program
Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills needed as well as enthusiasm for service
Exhibit strong organizational and detail skills
Demonstrate ability to work professionally and enthusiastically with faculty/staff/community/parents and students
Satisfactory computer and social media skills
Have strong oral and written communication skills
Be self-motivated and reliable
Be an organized and effective leader
Be supportive of the ecumenical and interfaith nature of campus ministry
Preferred Qualifications

Must be a current CSS student
Does NOT require work study eligibility
Previous experience as a student leader for the CSO program
Approximately 2 hours per week during the academic year. Approximately 5-10 hours per week during May 15-August 26.
Full time during August 27 to September 1.
