PSECU, a high-tech progressive financial institution with more than $8 billion in assets, is seeking a Community Relationship Manager. This position executes the sales strategy in the target market to promote and preserve the PSECU brand and deliver on membership growth goals. Deliver on developing business opportunities that support our current and potential member groups in the Financial Education Centers on our partner university locations, local partner employer groups, and throughout the surrounding communities.

Employee Type: Full-time, Exempt

Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, evenings and weekends as needed. This is a hybrid schedule working remotely with minimum onsite expectation of 80%, or as needed.

Minimum Starting Payrate: (Commensurate with experience)

Candidate must be bondable and credit worthy.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Essential for this position:

  • Promote credit union membership acquisition, financial education, product usage and retention at the Financial Education Centers, on campus, at Select Employer Group partners, and throughout the surrounding communities through activities including but not limited to events such as orientations, interest tables, workshops, employer events, conferences, and community sponsorship events.

  • Meets established membership growth, retention, and service goals within assigned market. Maintains professional and community relationships to increase Credit Unions visibility and new membership opportunities.

  • Acquire new member groups; increase membership in established member groups; and promote product awareness and usage.

  • Analyze and evaluates market opportunities to grow membership; makes recommendations for changes in services or improvements to support the business needs.

  • Work with the Regional Manager to execute a culture of sales and service through all internal and external sales related activities.

  • Adhere to PSECU's internal controls established for the PSECU Financial Education Centers including but not limited to security, opening, and closing, and daily operations. Act as liaison between PSECU management and campus and community leaders.

  • Must be able to travel throughout the community frequently.

MINIMUM / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree,
  • And two years of proven sales experience, business development and networking,
  • Or any equivalent combination of experience and education.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous customer service experience in banking, retail environment and sales preferred.
