GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITION:

Under occasional supervision, directs the sales and marketing program for Anthem Memory Care at an individual community level; disseminates information to the public regarding the community; supervises staff of the sales and marketing department; performs sales and admissions functions, and coordinates special events.

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Know and understand the vision, purpose, values and goals of Anthem Memory Care.

  • Searches out qualified leads from a variety of sources;

  • Shows apartments and retirement community to prospective residents, guests and others;

  • Explains the community features and benefits to potential residents and families;

  • Builds relationships with area professionals for ongoing referrals and leads;

  • Initiates and maintains contact with prospective residents, referral sources and others;

  • Receives calls and inquiries from prospective residents, their families, and their advisors; provides information, answers questions, overcomes objections and closes sales; follows up with all leads timely and in sufficient manner consistent with Anthem expectations;

  • Interviews and reviews records for approval of prospective residents; paperwork includes applications, contracts, financial/medical reports, lead tracking and sales reports;

  • Oversees and facilitates the acceptance process for new residents; ensures that apartments are ready for occupancy as contracted with prospective residents;

  • Supervises the staff of the sales and marketing department (if applicable), which includes recruiting, hiring, supervising and terminating employees; supervision includes assigning and reviewing work, maintaining standards, coordinating activities and conducting performance evaluations;

  • May supervise or act as move-in coordinator; facilitates the move-in process for new residents, writes work orders for apartments as necessary and coordinates the process with other departments of the community;

  • Prepares annual sales and marketing plan and quarterly updates;

  • Prepares and reviews occupancy and sales reports;

  • Coordinates and facilitates marketing events and group presentations;

  • Works with outside consultants as required;

  • Monitors and manages the budget of the department; prepares monthly financial reports;

  • Facilitates and attends in-service training and meetings as required;

  • Provides effective and courteous service to all residents and families, referral sources, and coworkers;

  • Promotes and protects the rights of all residents;

  • Performs various related essential duties as required by the Anthem corporate office and community's executive director.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma with some vocational or college course work in business, marketing or a related field. Five years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree in marketing, social sciences, business or a related field may be substituted for three of the years of experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

CERTIFICATION AND CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Criminal record clearance or criminal record exemption, as required by law

  • Health evaluation to ensure ability to perform duties of the position and the absence of any communicable disease, including tuberculosis and CXR clearance.

Director - Diversity & Inclusion Ball Aerospace is in search of a Director of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) to build and scale our diversity and inclusion strategy into every aspect of our company and culture. Key focus will be on partnering to increase workforce diversity by aiding in effectively recruiting, developing and retaining our diverse workforce and designing programs to foster an inclusive workplace where employees feel they belong. This position reports directly to the President of Ball Aerospace and will work closely with stakeholders across the company including the Aerospace Executive Team, Human Resources and the Ball Corporation Diversity & Inclusion team. What You'll Do: * Develop, implement, manage and evaluate Ball Aerospace's D&I strategy in alignment with company goals and in partnership with Ball Corporation's D&I team to deliver measurable results. * Serve as a thought leader who will raise awareness, implement best practices from a variety of industries and develop a D&I vision with company leaders. * Identify unconscious bias that lead to discrimination, inequality, and exclusion; partner with Human Resources to deliver effective techniques to help managers and employees overcome stereotypes and biases. * Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) on programs, and initiatives to improve recruitment, development and retention of our diverse high-performing workforce. * In partnership with HR, develop meaningful metrics, tools, and analytics that enable leadership to evaluate D&I performance and integration and effectiveness of our D&I strategy. * Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team; provide guidance and secure support from senior-level leaders in equity, diversity and inclusion efforts. * Collaborate with our Ball Resource Groups (BRGs) and internal allies in order to analyze & improve the organizational D&I climate. * Build key relationships with diverse professional, academic and community organizations. * Partner with the Marketing & Communications team to develop and lead a communications plan that includes Ball Aerospace intranet and website content to promote D&I activities, initiatives and messages for both the internal audience and for potential candidates in the recruitment process. * Conduct research and analysis to provide insight on developing diversity workforce management trends. * Partner with the HR Talent & Organizational Development (T&OD) team on the development and delivery of D&I training for employees. * Shape and integrate D&I within Ball Aerospace's policies, procedures and processes. * Perform such individual assignments as directed; establish and maintain effective work relationships within Ball Aerospace, Ball Corporation, and the community; and maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. * Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. * Perform other duties as necessary. What You'll Need: * BS/BA in a professional field plus 15 years or more related experience. * Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. * Experience in a Diversity & Inclusion related position as well as experience related to a leadership position within a business function preferred. * Strong influencing skills with an ability to drive alignment across executives and peers at all levels in the organization. * Demonstrated success in developing cutting edge strategy and driving process improvements with regard to D&I issues in the workplace. * Excellent communication skills, including effective writing, listening, presentation and facilitation skills. * Proven willingness and ability to be hands-on and work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills (both oral and written). * Ability to travel domestically approximately 10% of the time. * Experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry a plus. Working Conditions: * Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. * Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
