Engage with local community residents, organizations, businesses and stakeholders to develop specific strategies that address local needs for low or no-cost healthy food.Support the availability, distribution and promotion of no-cost healthy food at food banks, housing/community sites and summer food service program.Support retail sites like convenience stores and farmers markets to accept or increase food assistance redemption and to improve availability, appeal and promotion of healthy food items.Coordinates food access trainings and education for a variety of sites in the community assigned.Research and grant needs, Data collection, and reporting (SARN, SEEDS, Collection Summaries) for area of responsibility. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to effectively facilitate conversations with diverse partners and local residents.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Demands:
Employee is frequently required to lift/move/transport a certain amount of weight.Employee may have to perform work outdoors and may not be protected from weather conditions.
