The P&W Transformation Management Office (TMO) is seeking a Community Manager to join the Office of the Future (OOTF) team in a newly created role.
This team is dedicated to transforming our workplace and workforce. With employee experience at the center of their mission, the Office of the Future team has been tasked with a mission to transformation the P&W East Hartford footprint.
These transformational changes require an evolution of how individuals and teams work together and engage with the physical campus environment. The future state is one in which most P&W East Hartford salary employees work in a hybrid model where some of their work activities are performed on site, but a substantial portion of their time is spent working remotely. Other employees may find their work entirely on-site or entirely off-site. This evolution requires a substantial change to campus seating, moving from a predominantly assigned seating model to mostly unassigned seating oriented around team / functional neighborhoods.
The Community Manager will be tasked with managing a portion of P&W's new activity-based work environment. They will be the main point of contact on their assigned floor, reacting to and resolving any issues that may arise during the workday. The scope will include, but not be limited to - conducting routine walkthroughs and assessments of assigned space to ensure service level standards, policies and regulations are met (such as site emergency preparedness and response, global trade, and the security of P&W employee's assets and information, etc.), be the initial point of contact for technology issues (e.g., assisting employees in the use of the digital reservation tool and technology in shared spaces), welcome new occupants to assigned floor and provide specific onboarding information and guidance to the workspace, as well as providing support for visitor registration for assigned area. The Community Manager shall also foster relationships with supporting organization (e.g., Global Trade, Security, Facilities, EH&S, Digital Technology) to partner in addressing and resolving existing and emerging issues.
As a member of the Transformation & Strategy team, you will be accountable to shaping the future of the Pratt & Whitney enterprise and assuring a future worthy of the respect of the next generation of employees endowed the responsibility of shaping the aerospace industry.
This is an onsite role (post COVID). The onsite facility is located at: 400 Main Street, East Hartford, CT. 06118.
