The Role

This role will be responsible for managing the community in an efficient and profitable manner and creating the greatest possible satisfaction and wellbeing of its associates and residents, consistent with the goals and objectives of the company and community owners.

The schedule for this position is Tuesday-Saturday, Saturday availability is required.

You Have...

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalency (GED), Microsoft Office skills and 2-3 years experience managing people in a customer service oriented environment. Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree.

JOB DESCRIPTION The Community Reinvestment Officer (CRA) Leader is a leadership role that will report to the EVP, Corporate Philanthropy and Community Relations. Corporate Philanthropy and Community Relations (CPCR) operates as the link between the company and the communities we serve by leading enterprise strategies and programs that support the company goal of becoming the financial services leader in corporate citizenship. The Community Reinvestment Officer (CRA) Leader is responsible for developing, leading, and administering all aspects of the CRA Program for Wells Fargo. This role will establish a governance model for cross enterprise monitoring and reporting, convene business leaders to communicate where we have current CRA shortfalls and identify specific steps to remediate or escalate the risk to the executive leadership of the company, oversee bank's overall CRA strategy to ensure Outstanding rating on exam, manage all aspects of the OCC CRA examination for Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and serve as the bank's principle liaison with external CRA compliance auditors, examiners and regulators. Managing a team of professionals, the CRA Officer will lead CRA strategy, Regulatory Interpretation, and CRA Governance, which will include partnering with Lines of Business and Community Relations to offer guidance and knowledge sharing, ensuring the Bank operates in compliance with all CRA regulations, meeting and/or exceeding expectations of the Bank's regulatory agencies, and overseeing testing and QA from Lines of Business. The leader will identify ways to drive innovation in the space not limited to forecasting how external business trends and Wells Fargo business changes will impact CRA performance. The successful candidate will have deep regulatory expertise, public policy knowledge, data and exam management, and thought leadership skills. He/She will be skilled in strategic consulting, building and maintaining trust, positively influencing and leading others, negotiating sensitive issues related to CRA exam and/or program, execution, and operating with intelligent, diverse thinking and creativity. This role will: * Serve as an internal advisor and thought partner to lines of business and Community Relations to understand market challenges, identify common goals and priorities, leverage resources, communicate CRA performance and enhance storytelling * Ensure proper adherence to the provisions and intent of CRA regulations with the goal of meeting the credit needs of the communities the Bank serves, with a particular focus on low and moderate income people and neighborhoods. * Research, analyze and interpret all applicable CRA regulations and statutes and implement changes to and/or enhance existing policies and procedures * Drive Wells Fargo's strategy for the promotion, enhancement and oversight of these programs. * Manage the Bank's CRA risk and reporting to executive management on the progress and status of CRA-related objectives and initiatives. * Lead and manage the Bank's CRA Program by engaging stakeholders in the Bank and within the community to develop maintain, monitor, and assist in achieving annual goals set forth in the Bank's Business Plan for CRA. * Identify, develop and recommend revision of the bank's existing CRA standards, policies, operating procedures, and programs to ensure satisfactory results for the Bank. * Collaborate with the Corporate Philanthropy and Community Relations Shared Services Data Analytics & Reporting team on CRA Reporting and Analytic needs, including reviewing findings, analyzing data, developing insights CRA data reporting, and managing the analysis and synthesis of key themes, remediation, and/or items needing to be escalated * Serve as lead Interface with regulatory agency examiners during CRA examinations, oversee information production, and ensure compliance issues are adequately addressed where appropriate. * Develop and lead a team of CRA subject matter experts Flexible work location across Wells Fargo footprint.
