Under the supervision of the community Living Coordinator, the Community Living House Manger is responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive, peaceful home environment which fosters growth and development to enable people with intellectual and Developmental Disabilities reach their highest level of independence and live inclusive lives in their community. He/she will manage the day-to-day home operations and activities of the home to comply with all rules, regulations, and policies.

The Community Living House Manager will be responsible for ensuring services centered on daily living skills, proper nutrition, upkeep/maintenance of the home, medication management and transportation for the people supported.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; or an associate degree plus two years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma plus four years of relevant experience.

• Experience must include leadership responsibilities in the areas of documentation and people care.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

• The Community Living House Manager must be able to lift 50 lbs. with assistance when supporting people with developmental disabilities.

• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing.

$20 - $21.01 per hour, depending on education and experience.
