As a Community Liaison at Fairfax Behavioral Health you will perform as the primary manager for assigned accounts in your territory. Within this position you will maintain strong professional relationships with current community partners such as emergency departments, schools, treatment centers, etc. You will also establish new partnerships and make new connections with community stakeholders who may need to refer patients to our facilities. You will follow up on leads as well as self-generate business relationships through cold calling, meet and greets, and referral follow ups.
The ideal candidate has strong communicatons skills both in-person and via Zoom, phone, emails. This position is performed with the highest level of customer service and a passion for creating connections that will foster the best behavioral health options for the community.

Qualifications
Education:
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years experience in health care business development, marketing or behavioral health
Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment is preferred, but not required
Licensure:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of basic business development concepts and marketing strategies.
Knowledge of key internal/external health-care environments and monitoring of trends.
Demonstrate superior customer service skills with external and internal customers.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Skilled in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong presentation skills for meetings with individual and group stakeholders.
Knowledge of computers and software programs, especially those used to track business development progress.
Ability to use good judgment and to maintain confidentiality of information.
Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND SPECIAL DEMANDS:
Ability to work a 40-hour work week.
Ability to sit for long periods, up to 8 hours.
Ability to use both hands in fine manipulation of small tools (copier, computer, telephone, cell phone, calculator and facsimile machine).
Ability to push and pull up to 20 pounds (file drawers, computer paper boxes).
Ability to see well enough to read handwritten and typewritten materials.
Ability to hear and speak well enough to communicate over the telephone and in front of audiences.
Moving requires lifting, pulling and stooping.
Ability with computer, cell phone and handheld device.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to handle a variety of repetitive tasks.
