Responsibilities

The Community Liaison is the InnovAge champion doing front-line community outreach presenting InnovAge's mission and services at local community events responsible for prospect generation. They work in tandem with the business development team to build community awareness for InnovAge services generating leads for the enrollment.

InnovAge is designed to keep seniors independent and at home for as long as it is safely possible. Successful candidate is actively involved in their community, has a passion for supporting senior care services and has an interest in promoting InnovAge services directly within the community at events.

  • Promotes InnovAge marketing plan by setting up tables in the community to introduce InnovAge's mission, provide overview and answer questions about services and actively ask for leads to the program.

  • Actively provides educational information around PACE/LIFE services to members of the community at on-site events. Target audience includes caregivers and potential participants eligible for InnovAge senior care services.

  • Assists with scheduling of community outreach, attends events, and sets up table and all collateral materials, tracks/reports/submits all prospects from each community event.

  • Performs local outreach to promote InnovAge services through on-site promotion in the community in locations like community centers, outside of retail centers, church events, conferences, and other events in the community.

  • Performs "discovery" with target audience of caregivers and potential participants at each event to identify initial eligibility for PACE/LIFE services.

  • Directly asks for leads from those that are identified as potentially eligible for InnovAge services, documents all contact information and submits all contacts to Regional Sales Director after events.

  • Creates strong on-site relationships with community partner organizations in order to effectively educate caregivers and potential participants by reflecting the InnovAge mission and company vision.

  • Actively recommends other community events to promote services based on their contacts and knowledge of the community they are serving.

  • Maintains accurate records of all prospects, presentations, closed leads and documents all follow up information.

  • Reports on goal attainment and performance on a weekly basis.

REQUIRED

  • 3+ yrs total related experience.

  • Current and Direct involvement in Philadelphia community - key participant or has contact with community boards, church leaders and other community organizations to build relationships and promote InnovAge services.

  • Thrives off direct people engagement leveraging strong listening skills and the ability to empathize with the caregivers and participants about senior care support and services.

  • Willingness to set up tables within the community, enjoys interacting with the general public and present InnovAge services and has the patience to work with the general public to discuss how senior care services can support a potential participant and their families.

  • Desire to be an active partner with local InnovAge sales teams in extending the value of InnovAge senior care services within the Philadelphia catchment.

  • Requires state issued driver's license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
