Job Title: Campus Safety Community Liaison

Reports to: Director of Campus Safety and Deputy Director

Job Description:
The Campus Safety Security Liaison will facilitate communication and collaboration between departments, teams, and Organizations. The liaison will serve as a bridge, connecting and coordinating efforts to ensure smooth operations and efficient decision-making. While also possessing knowledge of major security issues, policies, and programs. The Candidate is also responsible for security initiatives, broadening awareness of security practices throughout the Manhattanville Community, and providing a designated security point of contact.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Be proactive in promoting Security Initiatives throughout the University whether New or existing
Actively Promoting Security Awareness Reviewing Community Guidelines, Rave emergency system Implementation and Usage,
Parking system Implementation and Maxiant Implementation and Usage.
Establish and Maintain Security awareness
Sever as a student facing point of contact for security incidents
Be proactive in promoting Security Initiatives at events such as Orientation, Open house, Employees training etc.
Community Engagement: Forge meaningful connections with Students, employees, Patrons and community members, understanding their unique needs and concerns.
Empowerment through training: Provide guidance and training sessions to employees, staff and other community members, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to uphold safety and security standards.
Collaborative Approach: Work alongside Departments, such as Reslife, SHAC, CSIL, and CFI building bridges and fostering partnerships to enhance overall community safety and
Positive enforcement: While upholding established rules and policies, approach enforcement with a positive mindset, emphasizing collaboration and shared responsibility for safety

Qualifications:
CPR , first aide and AED trained
Clean Driver's license
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
