United for Youth Coordinator
Position: Community Education United For Youth Coordinator
Schedule: 5 days / week, 2 hours / day, 12 months / year
Location: Community Education
Beginning: As Agreed Upon
Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour

A local initiative needs a coordinator to promote developmental assets within the communities of Buffalo, Hanover & Montrose. The coordinator will participate in local programs and projects that promote positive mental health, healthy relationships, and community support within citizens and young people. This position will interact with key leaders within the communities, various organizations and the school district. A "can do" attitude will continue the success of this initiative.
Report to a board of directors
Prepare quarterly financial and narrative reports for local collaborative and fiscal host
Schedule, prepare and attend quarterly board of directors meetings
Attend and participate in local collaborative governance meetings
Participate in school and community initiatives and meetings
Promote the Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets through various media, education, programs and funding
Coordinate and correspond with UFY grantees regarding applications, reports and finances
Advocate for healthy, responsible relationships with young people
Knowledgeable with budgets and finances
Experience working with people of all ages
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Require team player attitude
