Job Summary Benefits Supplemental Questions
Primary responsibility is providing front counter customer service assistance and processing of basic land development applications, sign permit and building permit related requests.
Responsible for the review and analysis of applications submitted to the Community Development Department for completeness and conformance with the Town of Parker Municipal Code requirements and the related follow up required to process and approve submittals. May prepare written, verbal and power-point presentations of findings related to land development applications to the Planning Commission and Town Council as required.
This position will have a great deal of public contact including research and answering questions in person and over the telephone.
High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of increasingly responsible experience in customer service or related field. Experience in municipal planning principles, practices and procedures preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience to provide for the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities (view full job description) may be considered. The ability to successfully complete a background check including but not limited to: criminal history search is required.
Additional Information:Work hours are typically 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening, weekend and holiday hours may be required.
