Seasonal/temporary/on-call position available

Summary/Objective Peace Village is more than a continuing care community; we are a family. Our staff is here to enhance the lives of our residents and fellow staff members daily.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure that all residents are safe and secure. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. First responder to resident emergency calls. 2.

Assigned administrative tasks to be completed at designated front desk station. 3. Responsible for package delivery from desk and dock. 4. Responsible for package and medication pick up by residents and resident registration for events.

Will not be responsible for stamps, safe or money handling. 5. Responsible for reception calls and emergencies duties could include but not limited to toilet plunges, TV assist, care alarms, lockouts and guest assistance. 6. Responsible for property inspections and lock-up including MOB. 7.

Supports Environmental Service Technician when assigned. 8. Ensures outstanding customer service in accordance with the mission of Peace Village. Competencies 1.

Technology skills Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct staff supervisor responsibilities. Work Environment This position operates both indoor and outdoor in various weather conditions. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms bend, squat, crawl and kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds and occasionally life and/or move objects up to 75 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This position may be required to work evenings and weekends. Occasionally works beyond regular working hours as necessary. This position is involved with residents, families, visitors, staff, etc., under all circumstances and conditions.

Travel Travel is not required for this position. Required Education and Experience 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2.

Valid driver's license. 3.
