The Datacenter Community Affairs team is looking for a Community Affairs Senior Content Manager who is interested in creative storytelling and managing the process of developing engaging, compelling, and relevant community-focused content.
This Americas-based role will help manage both internal and external content about Microsoft's work in communities in which Microsoft develops and operates datacenters.
The Community Affairs team is part of Microsoft's datacenter organization - Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) - supporting the growth and operations of Microsoft's cloud infrastructure by partnering with the people and organizations in datacenter communities to drive social opportunity, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
Understanding of the datacenter industry is a plus
Ability to edit copy
Experience managing agencies and creative talent
Understanding of research principles and tactics along with modern communication strategies
Experience building and nurturing partnerships, collaborating and influencing across multiple stakeholders internally and externally
Skilled at prioritization, creating order and marshalling resources towards common goals and driving for results
Ability to provide strategic and tactical guidance to leaders across the organization
Able to provide clarity in complex situations in alignment to deadlines
Experience navigating ambiguity to create clarity for key industry team stakeholders as it relates to communications and storytelling
Experience using Adobe Analytics
Experience using Sprinklr for social listening
Advanced usage ability of Microsoft Office product suite including, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
