We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Web Development Intern to join our Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) team. Reporting to the Communications Director, you will play an integral implementation role in communications, marketing, recruitment and alumni relations.

This is a 12-week paid internship.

What You'll Do

  • Create and update web pages in Drupal CMS.

  • Code and format email on Marketo, a marketing automation platform.

  • Research, write, format and/or source images for various products across multiple platforms: web, social media, print, video, etc.

  • Learn and/or utilize various software and digital tools such as Photoshop, Form Assembly, etc.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (or transitioning between the two). Communications, marketing and information systems majors preferred; all majors considered.

  • Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML.

  • Proficiency in Outlook and MS Word. Familiarity with Excel.

  • Experience with Drupal, Salesforce (or another CRM) and Marketo preferred.

  • Knowledge of best practices in web design preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines.

  • Strong internet research and database search skills.

  • Ability to be flexible and manage a variety of tasks simultaneously.
