The person we are on the hunt for will lead all strategic efforts (creative strategy, media briefs, communications strategy, etc.) on one of our larger accounts in addition to Communications Strategy across the office. They will bring a balance of strategic rigor and direction to campaign architecture, media implementation and push for entertaining and innovative executionsof creative platforms (e.g. Snicker's You're Not You When You're Hungry or RedbullGives You Wings).
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Leads the development of communication strategies and creative briefs (with the help of a Senior Creative Strategist and the support of the Head of Strategy).
Architects communications strategy, campaign tasks, and channel specific initiatives and measurement planning with the intent to drive behavior change.
Leads Client, agency ecosystem partners, media properties, and others in development of comms initiatives that drive a successful campaign.
Ensures that multi-disciplinary team works to identify consumer behaviors, leverage media trends and new media capabilities, pushing for fame and category innovation.
Organizes and oversees campaign measurement and co-leads (with Digital Director/Growth Marketer) implementation of test, learn and optimization processes for campaign effectiveness, including monthly and quarterly measurement reporting.
Inspires internal teams, clients and external teams in how strategic communications can be used to bring ideas to life. Ensuring that the client and creative team have a sophisticated understanding of how comms and media work together to drive campaign success.
Manages client relationships and proactively develops future campaign initiatives/thinking.
Maintains a relationship with all teams working across the client's business.
Participates and even co-leads new business pitches, with Head of Strategy.
Passionate about reversing the effects of climate change and using marketing powers for good, helping to extend our creative platform and campaign across media channels with the intent to change behavior and embed our creative platforms into culture.
Works closely with creative teams to inspire creative campaign development that reaches from every corner of California, from the coasts to the inland areas (for EUC).
Manages Senior Strategist and Social Community Manager unleashing the hidden potential in others and helping to unlock new skills and team growth.
6-8 years of integrated media-related or creatively driven agency experience.
A proven track record of implementing holistic communications planning strategies across channels that brings a big idea and creative platform to life.
Demonstrated examples of implementation of key consumer insights into the formulation of big ideas and communications strategy, across all disciplines.
Experience with the integration of creative, media, PR and in store disciplines toward a singular strategic communications approach.
Track record of successful and productive relationship management with agency partners.
Senior client relationship management experience.
Ability to manage a matrixed organization.
Strong aptitude for problem solving.
Risk taker who is open to change and has a knack for developing unconventional ideas, original opinions and insights.
Highly organized individual who can prioritize, meet deadlines, improve processes, and manage time effectively.

A strong understanding of the clients' industries and environments within which they operate.
